Doc Adams

The Doc Adams Wines label was established in 2005 between Viticulturist Adam Jacobsand Orthopaedic Surgeon Dr. Darren Waters.

With combined experience of 32 years in the wine industry, Doc Adams Wines mission is to select the best parcels of fruit from McLaren Vale and other regions of SA cool climates to produce the best possible wines within its range.

Viticulturist Adam Jacobs has been growing grapes in McLaren Vale, Coonawarra, Adelaide Hills, and Langhorne Creek as a Consultant Viticulturist for the past 15 years and was previously based on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria. He is a graduate of Viticulture from the Charles Sturt University at Wagga Wagga, NSW.

Adam's business associate Dr. Darren Waters is a passionate grape grower and for the past 10 years during his time off from the surgery, has been growing low yielding shiraz grapes in McLaren Vale for that period.
